Nicole's Journey

• Graduated from the Police Foundations program at Northern College

• Served at the Town of Wasaga Beach Municipal Law Enforcement Agency

• Transitioned to a successful career as a retail manager

• Successfully completed the Paralegal Licensing Exam to earn her Paralegal License

Nicole, alongside her husband, two daughters, dog, and cat, resides in Barrie and operates primarily from our Orillia office. Her diverse background and unwavering commitment to client success make her an invaluable asset to our team and the clients we serve.

Ciara McMillen

Paralegal

• Graduated from the University of Ottawa where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a major in psychology and a minor in law.

• Georgian College Paralegal program, graduated with Honours.

• Successfully completed the Paralegal Licensing Exam to earn her Paralegal License

Ciara operates primarily from our Orillia office as a Paralegal and is looking forward to providing dedicated representation to our firm's clients.

Sophia Lavimodiere

Paralegal

We are thrilled to have Sophia Lavimodiere on our team at De Palma & Associates, where she joins us as a Paralegal primarily based in our Wasaga Beach office. Sophia's passion for the law, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence make her a valuable addition to our firm.

• Natural skin care entrepreneur and product development

• Graduated with a diploma from the Academy of Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences in   Cannabis – Management, Quality and Edibles, with Honours

Outside of work Sophia enjoys exploring the outdoors both on land and water as well as time spent with her friends and family.

Chae McConnell

Legal Assistant

De Palma & Associates welcomes Chae McConnell to our team, who is joining as a receptionist and legal assistant based in our Wasaga Beach office. Chae’s organization, attention to detail, and background in legal education make her a great addition to our firm. 

Chae's Journey: 

• Graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Criminology
• Georgian College Paralegal Program, with Honours
• Plans to write the P1 Licensing Exam in February of 2026 to earn her Paralegal License

Outside of work, Chae enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading a good book.

Rachel Dal Bello

Law Clerk

We are thrilled with the addition of Rachel Dal Bello to our team. Rachel brings enthusiasm and dedication to her role as Law Clerk.

An avid crafter, she loves to try her hand at new arts and crafts mediums. She enjoys board games, thrifting, and quality time with friends and family.
