Christina De Palma, owner of De Palma & Associates, is a licensed paralegal with a stellar reputation in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Combining her passion for helping others with extensive legal knowledge, Christina proves to be an invaluable asset for clients navigating diverse legal challenges.

Nicole's Journey

  • Graduated from the Police Foundations program at Northern College
  • Served at the Town of Wasaga Beach Municipal Law Enforcement Agency
  • Transitioned to a successful career as a retail manager
  • Successfully completed the Paralegal Licensing Exam to earn her Paralegal License

Nicole, alongside her husband, two daughters, dog, and cat, resides in Barrie and operates primarily from our Orillia office. Her diverse background and unwavering commitment to client success make her an invaluable asset to our team and the clients we serve.

Carley McNamara

Our Enthusiastic Junior Paralegal

We are thrilled to welcome Carley McNamara to our team at De Palma & Associates, where she serves as a Junior Paralegal based in our Orillia office. 


Carley's academic journey began at the University of Guelph, where she graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, alongside a minor in Philosophy. Eager to delve deeper into the legal field, Carley pursued further education by completing the Paralegal program at Georgian College, where she had the privilege of being taught by our very own Christina De Palma.


Carley takes great pride in her evolving role at De Palma & Associates Legal Services and looks forward to contributing to the firm's continued success. 


When she's not at work, Carley enjoys unwinding with her pets and exploring the scenic beauty of Muskoka through hiking adventures. She currently resides in Mactier with her boyfriend, Boston, and their newest addition to the family, a lively puppy named Ella.

We are excited to have Carley as part of our team and anticipate great things from her in the future as she grows and thrives within our firm.

Katja Awender

Your Dedicated Law Clerk

We are delighted to welcome Katja Awender to our esteemed team at De Palma & Associates, where she proudly serves as a Law Clerk in our Wasaga Beach office. Katja brings with her a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to support our paralegals in delivering exceptional service to our clients.


Katja's journey began at the University of Guelph, where she graduated with Honours, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Political Science. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Katja obtained her paralegal education with Honours from Georgian College, where she had the privilege of learning from our very own Christina De Palma.


Katja is committed to supporting our firm's mission of providing top-notch legal services, and she looks forward to contributing her skills and expertise to our team. On a personal note, Katja resides in her hometown of Creemore with her family and her beloved cat, Margo.

Ola Karbowniczek

Our Enthusiastic Legal Assistant

We are thrilled to welcome Ola Karbowniczek as the newest member of our team at De Palma & Associates, where she joins us as a Legal Assistant based in our Wasaga Beach office. Ola's passion for the law and dedication to excellence make her a valuable addition to our firm.


Ola embarked on her legal journey at Wilfred Laurier University, where she majored in Law & Society, igniting her interest in the legal field. This passion led her to pursue further education at Georgian College, where she completed the Paralegal program. Ola is eager to contribute her skills and knowledge to our team.


Splitting her time between Wasaga Beach and Flesherton, Ola feels at home in both communities and looks forward to making meaningful contributions to our firm's success. We are excited to have Ola on board and anticipate great things from her as she embarks on her journey with De Palma & Associates.
